APPL 685 - NURTURING FAITH: REIMAGINING THE EDUCATIONAL MISSION OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IN THE CHURCH

WITH BERNIE POTVIN

ONLINE COURSE
CLASS DATES: JUN 25 - AUG 31, 2018
3 CREDIT HOURS

This course is a guide for re-imagining the educational mission of the church. If the educational mission of the church is to nurture faith in people, many old ideas regarding education need to be re-imagined into new practices. Many current practices need to be reimagined into more effective educationally and theologically sound ones. This course will provide you with problem-based learning designed set of experiences designed for you to imagine new practices in your ministry context. Through completing this course, you will be guided to propose, develop and then test one solution-a prototype-in your context (i.e. church, school, home and neighbourhood).
