STUDENT LIFE NEWS - DECEMBER 2018

Dear students,

As you enter into the busy season of Advent and Christmas in your ministry setting, let us don’t forget the reason for the season: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, took on human form and became one of us, born, died and risen for us. Now He is serving as our high priest, seeking mercy on our behalf every moment. May this season bring plenty of opportunities for us to share this good news with our neighbors and our community, in word and in deed.

Emmanuel!

EBSCO and Logos Bible Software Available
    to Carey Students

We are happy to announce to you that Carey has "beefed-up" our EBSCO collection significantly this year. We have purchased a total of 4 solid good commentary sets as well as getting unlimited licenses for the IVP Dictionary set which is the required Cornerstone module textbook and a valuable reference for all.

Please note that Logos Bible Software is offering a free version of their software to seminary students and professors. Here is the link to download it:

    https://www.logos.com/academic-basic

I would highly encourage you to get that because they give out 1 free e-book per month when you create your Logos account.

Also, with verification of your Carey student ID, you can receive academic discount for purchasing textbooks, including the IVP Dictionaries we are using in the Cornerstone course:

Please take advantage of the offer.
