TEACHING AREA: BIBLICAL STUDIES (OT)

Dr. Chloe Sun is the professor of Old Testament at Logos Evangelical Seminary in El Monte, California. She earned her PhD in Old Testament from Fuller Theological Seminary. She is the author of The Ethics of Violence in the Story of Aqhat (Gorgias Press, 2008) and the co-editor of Mirrored Reflections: Reframing Biblical Characters (Wipf & Stock, 2010). Her Chinese writings include a commentary on Genesis and a trilogy on Hebrew devotionals (Tien Dao, Hong Kong). Her commentary on the Song of Songs was released in 2016 (Ming Dao, Hong Kong). Dr. Sun’s passion is to communicate Scripture creatively in order to transform lives.
