Fall Term Has Begun - Theological Programs

We are excited to welcome 30 new students to the Carey Fall 2019 cohort, the largest incoming class we have had in the past 15 years. These students represent diverse cultural and ministry backgrounds. Our online delivery platform allows us to serve students around the world, with our newest students coming from Botswana, Canada, Chad, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, the United States of America, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

14 of the new students are recipients of major scholarships. The President’s Scholarship (PS) provides 100% tuition coverage and 5 M.Div. students were recipients, adding to the 7 awarded last year. The Dean’s Scholarship (DS) provides 50% tuition coverage which an additional 9 students received.

“Carey’s President’s Scholarship has allowed me to study the Bible in new ways. The courses are biblically sound and theologically relevant. They foster spiritual and academic growth in crucial areas of ministry,” says Ernest Musekiwa, an M.Div. student and a pastor in Zimbabwe.

With the support of many donors, we continue to strive to make theological education available to men and women called into ministry. Our faculty and staff look forward to the exciting journey of walking alongside and equipping these students for the work of God’s kingdom.
